CHRISTIAN EDUATION
Adult Forum Sundays, 9:10 a.m. - Miller Hall during the school year
Adult Forum is held Sundays at 9:10 am in Miller Hall, concluding in time for the 10 am Eucharist. You are welcome to drop in any Sunday. We will have a rotation of topics.
Youth Education Sunday, 9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. during the school year
Our youth program for middle and high school students offers a variety of opportunities for Christian community, fellowship and spiritual formation. Middle and High School aged youth meet downstairs in the Youth Room at 9 a.m. on Sundays for Christian Formation time.
Sunday School Sundays, 9:10 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. during the school year
All classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:10 a.m. in the Christian Education Wing. The purpose of the Church School is to educate, spiritually enrich, and provide a basis for faith development in our children. Church School classes are available for children from age 3 (with preschool experience) through 6th grade.
Discover the Difference
Discover the Difference formation for confirmation and reception. In this class the basics of the Episcopal faith are presented. Part of this class is a course on "Doing Theology". We believe that it is important that we teach our members how to think theologically, and how to make life decisions that are informed by their faith - "Doing Theology" prepares us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. This class is required for those wishing to be Confirmed or Received into the Episcopal Church. Contact the office for more scheduling and registration.
1st Holy Communion Class
This class is for 1st and 2nd graders, whether or not they are already receiving communion. It will normally take place every second year around the time of Easter and before the Bishop’s annual visitation during Sunday school time.
Book Studies
6 – 8 week book studies are held at various times during the year. Please see the bulletin or Good News for more information.
Good News Cafe
This is a bible study series held 3 times each year. See the home page or contact the office for more details.
