Dear New Comers, and Seekers, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! It’s another way to say, “Hello and thank you for looking us up online. Churches put themselves out here on the internet hoping someone will come along and give them a look. We are grateful you have found your way here. To us. The people of St. Anne’s are gracious, loving, vibrant. They are rooted in the doctrine, discipline and worship of Christianity as expressed by The Episcopal Church. They are dedicated to the service of others and to the worship of God. It is truly a gift to get to serve this congregation. The Episcopal Church is a denomination that has its roots in the deepest part of Christianity; it did not start with a divorce of a certain English King. Rather, its roots can be traced back to at least the 4th Century C.E. The English Church has been in existence since the fall of the Roman Empire and has been present since the first Roman Troops brought Christianity to the island.
As such our Church enjoys full participation the life of Christianity and has a deep commitment to the teachings of Christ, in spite of the fact that we interpret certain things differently from our sisters and brothers in the body of Christ. Our differences help us to see the beauty in each other, they do not separate us. If you are looking for a parish to call home, give us a call or send us an email. We'd love to connect with you and share with you in your life in Christ or your journey towards God. If you are considering Baptism, or getting married, or looking to find a new expression of faith, we'd love to have those conversations with you. Please let us know how we can support you, and please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you as a priest in the Church of God.
