please contact the parish directly. We are excited to announce The Reverend Julia Hendrix will be our Rector starting September 1, 2026!!The Reverend Julia R. Hendrix serves as Rector of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church. Prior to serving St. Anne’s, she served for several years as Rector of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin, where the congregation experienced significant growth in worship, membership, Christian formation, and community outreach. Mother Julia has also served at the diocesan level on the Standing Committee as a member and as President, the Disciplinary Committee, and the Immigration Task Force. She is the Regional Missioner for the Eastern Ridges Region of the Diocese of Wisconsin. Mother Julia earned her Master of Divinity degree, cum laude, from Nashotah House Theological Seminary. Before entering ordained ministry, she practiced law, taught high school English and history, and worked in public policy and immigration advocacy in Washington, D.C. Her ministry is centered on thoughtful preaching, faithful worship, pastoral care, Christian formation, hospitality, and service to the wider community. She believes the Church is called to welcome people generously, help them grow as disciples, and carry the love of Christ beyond its walls. Mother Julia and her husband, Steve, have three adult children and two grandsons. She enjoys family, gardening, genealogy, history, travel, and spending time with her dogs, Polly and Jake. |
